Sacramento, CA - The Sacramento City Unified School District is hosting a Hygiene Drive. Now through December 22, we are collecting donations of hygiene items to provide to unhoused students and families in need. Donations will be distributed to our unhoused community in the weeks following Winter Break.

Community members who are able to give may bring donations of full-size items like shampoo, conditioner, soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, diapers, wipes, deodorant, socks and hairbrushes to Serna Center (5735 47th Ave.) and leave them in the blue bin by the front desk in the lobby.

“Our Student Support and Health Services team works closely with our unhoused students and families at our school sites to determine what items they need to make their lives a little easier, and hygiene items are usually in short supply. During this giving season, we ask our community to help us stock up on everyday hygiene items that we can provide to our identified unhoused students,” said Lisa Allen, Interim Superintendent, Sacramento City Unified School District.
