Report Card Distribution

Sac City Unified is sending report cards securely through ParentSquare this school year. Families will no longer receive a paper copy of the report card unless requested from the school office.

Why are we making this change?

Sending report cards through ParentSquare helps the district:

  • Reduce paper use and support more sustainable practices.
  • Reduce printing and mailing costs, allowing district resources to be used where they are needed most.
  • Provide secure digital delivery so families can access report cards online.
  • Make report cards easier to access and save for families, without worrying about lost or damaged paper copies.

You will receive a notification when your student’s report card is ready.

For your child’s privacy, report cards are shared through a secure link in ParentSquare, not as email or text attachments. When you open the link, you may be asked to sign in to ParentSquare. If prompted, you can use your ParentSquare password or Touch ID/Face ID to verify your identity.

How to View Your Student’s Report Card

  1. Open the ParentSquare notification you receive by email, text, or app.

  2. Click or tap View Document.

  3. Sign in to ParentSquare if prompted.

  4. Your student’s report card will open as a PDF. You can view, download, or print it.

Don't have a registered ParentSquare account?

You may need to register your ParentSquare account before you can view the report card. If your account is not registered, you will receive a separate email with a link to activate your account.

What If I Don't Receive a Notification?

Contact your student’s school to check that your email address or phone number is correct and up to date. ParentSquare uses the guardian contact information in Infinite Campus, our student information system.

When Will Report Cards Be Available?

Report cards for the 2026-2027 school year will be available on ParentSquare on the following dates:

Elementary Students

  • First Trimester: November 13, 2026
  • Second Trimester: March 12, 2027
  • Third Trimester: May 27, 2027

Secondary Students

First Semester

  • Term 1: October 30, 2026
  • Term 2: January 15, 2027

Second Semester

  • Term 1:  April 2, 2027
  • Term 2: May 27, 2027

View Report Cards on ParentSquare

From A Web browser

  1. Log into ParentSquare
  2. From Home, click Secure Documents on the left under Explore, then select the Document tab.
  3. Locate the document you want to view. 
  4. Click View Email to view the document notification. 
  5. Click View Document (if no signature is required)  to open the PDF.
  6. Sign in again to verify your identity and view the document. If you have signed in recently, you will not need to perform this step.

From THe ParentSquare App

  1. Log in to your ParentSquare account with your email address or phone number.
  2. On the bottom toolbar, tap More.
  3. Tap Secure Documents under Explore. 
  4. Locate the document you want to view and click View Document. Secure Document notifications are marked by a page with lock icon.
  5. Sign in again to view the selected document. If you have signed in recently, you will not need to perform this step.
