Current Students
Students currently enrolled in a Sac City Unified school, who live within district boundaries or attend on an inter-district permit, will be automatically enrolled for the following school year within the same school segment (e.g., elementary, middle, or high school).
TK students are transitioned back to their neighborhood school for kindergarten unless they attended A.M. Winn, Alice Birney, Leonardo da Vinci, New Joseph Bonnheim, or transferred schools through Open Enrollment process or a District Permit. In January 2025, Parents/guardians received an email and letter with kindergarten enrollment details for the 2025-2026 school year.
Students moving to a new school segment (e.g., elementary to middle school) will be automatically enrolled in their neighborhood school based on their primary address. Those on inter-district permits must reapply when moving to a new school segment.
