Clearance to Work
Fingerprinting Service
The Sacramento City Unified School District now offers fingerprinting services for employees, volunteers and the general public. We fingerprint for outside agencies located throughout Northern California.
Tuberculosis (TB) Testing Requirements
No person shall be employed by the school district unless they have placed on file with the district a certificate from a licensed physician indicating that a tuberculosis examination within the past 60 days shows that they are free from active tuberculosis. (Education Code 49406, Assembly Bill 1667 and Board Policy)
Employee Tips for Accessing TB Screening
California School Employee Tuberculosis (TB) Risk Assessment Questionnaire
Employee Entrance Evaluation (EEE) (Lifting Test)
Some classified jobs within our district are physically demanding and requires individuals to lift and carry on a regular basis. Before entering into a position, it is reasonable and appropriate to determine that there is a match between what a position requires physically and the physical ability of the candidate. This is a pre-employment, post offer physical ability test that enables the candidate and school district to screen in candidates whom can perform the job tasks within a position before they begin working.
If your classified position requires lifting and carrying on a regular basis, you will be provided a Candidate Authorization Form
Sac City Unified offers free tuberculosis (TB) assessments for staff, new hires, and volunteers the following Thursdays from 3:30-5:30pm.
